What does the daily rental charge exclude?

What are the terms and conditions of the motorhome rental?
Car Rental Services merely acts as agent for the rental companies. When picking up your motorhome you will have to complete and sign a rental agreement with the rental company. The rental is subject to the rental company's rental agreement which is subject to change without prior notice. The rental is further subject to the conditions listed below, please read these carefully.

How do I pay for the motorhome rental?
Payments to Car Rental Services
The cost of the daily rental is pre-payable to Car Rental Services prior to the start of the rental. With your confirmation you will receive a credit card authorisation form via email for you to print out, complete and fax back to us. You can also pay Car Rental Services by bank transfer.

Payments and deposits to the Motorhome Company
Everything that is excluded from the daily rental cost will be charged to your credit card by the motorhome rental company when you pick-up your motorhome. The Excess deposit is also payable at pick-up, this can be paid in cash, traveller's cheques or credit card. The Excess is returned to you when you drop-off the vehicle.

Can I pick-up the motorhome at the airport or have it delivered to where I stay?
No, but the motorhome rental company will gladly transfer you to their depot from where you stay or the airport. Some rental companies ask a minimal fee of between R100 and R150 for the transfer to their depot. At the motorhome depot you will be briefed in detail on every aspect of your motorhome and travelling circumstances.

Is there a minimum rental period?
Some rental companies have a minimum rental period of 5 days and 10 days for collection or return in Botswana.

What is the minimum age for a driver / renter?
21

What are the insurance costs on top of the daily rental charges?

Can I change or cancel my motorhome booking?
Changes or cancellations are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective rental companies. On top of any penalties imposed by the rental comanies, all changes or cancellations with Car Rental Services are subject to a R100 administration fee.
